Nephew of Mrs. J. A. Manson Was Buried in Ayr Cemetery on Sunday Afternoon

Following a long illness, resulting from an injury while on active service in Canada two years ago, Lieut. George Lambert Ross died in Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday. Lieut. Ross was born in Rapid City, Man., the son of Mrs. G. B. Ross (nee Nellie Anderson of Ayr) and the late Mr. Ross. He enlisted about three years ago in Yorkton, where he was then living, and about a year later was severely injured while carrying out his duties as an instructor of artillery. Steed, and the pallbearers were; P. L. Gourlay, J. C. Kyle, Edward Whitson, John Henderson, E. S. Strachan and George
