  George M. Jacques George M. Jacques of 81 Frederick St., died today, at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. He was 77. Mr. Jacques was born in Wingham and lived in Preston, from 1919 to 1952, when he moved to Kitchener. He was employed by the Grand River Railway as a conductor and retired in 1958. His first wife, the former Mary Cartwright, died in 1951. His second wife, the former Mabel Leggatt, died in 1962. Surviving are four sons, Jack and William, both of Preston. George and Robert, both of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Yvonne) Winkle of Kitchener, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body is at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, in Preston, where a service will be conducted Wednesday, at 3: 30 p.m. Burial will be in Preston cemetery.
