  SPALDING, George W. Of 338 Dover St. N., Cambridge, on Saturday, June 20, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Kathleen Jardine; dear father of Donald of Kitchener, Mrs. Fran McCulloch, Margo (Mrs. Thomas Jenks), Bette (Mrs. Michael Simard) and Susan (Mrs. Dan Morrison), all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, William of Cambridge and two sisters, Dorothy and Anna, both of Cambridge. Mr. Spalding was born in Cambridge (Preston) and was a lifelong resident of the area. A retired employee of the Kitchener office of the Brewer's Warehouse Company. A member of St. Clement's RC Church, the Knights of Columbus, Galt Council and a former member of the Preston Catholic School Board. The funeral mass was celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, Cambridge, today (Monday, June 22) at 2: 30 p.m. Interment followed in Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
