  APPEL, Georgina Margaret "Gene" - Died, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, June 5, 2000, of Kitchener. Georgina was born in North Easthope township 87 years ago. She worked in Tavistock and Kitchener be fore her marriage to William Appel on April 18, 1938. They resided in Milverton and had three children. George lives in Boca Raton, Fla.,. Judith and her husband George Milton of Ireland, Jack and his wife Margaret of Kitchener; grandmother of four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Krista Appel and Susan and Kerry Milton. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Bertha Neeb; a sister, Alma Wettlaufer and brother, Howard Neeb. Georgina was a faithful member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and the ladies quilting club of the church. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 248 High land Rd., Kitchener on Thursday, June 8, 2000 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Bill Shafer officiating. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St. Stephen Lutheran Church Building Fund and can be arranged by calling the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo at 745-8445.
