    • RITTER, Gertrude Clara Passed away at her home at Derbecker's Heritage House, St. Jacobs on March 13, 2013 in her 100th year. Gertrude Ritter, loving wife of the late Milton Ritter. Dear mother of Carol Freiburger. Loving grandmother of Gary Freiburger (Shirley), Debbie Freiburger and Linda Martin (Murray). Great-grandmother of Colin (Kristy), Craig (Mandy), Tracy, Alecia, Ryan, Christopher and Lindsay. Great-great- grandmother of Brody, Blake, Jaxon, and Alena. She will fondly be remembered by her sister Ethel Gastmier. Predeceased by her parents John Schmidt and Ellanora Steen. Also predeceased by her brother Egbert Schmidt and her son-in-law Joe Freiburger. Gertrude was a long time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Kitchener and a former member of the Victoria Park Seniors Centre. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gertrude with her family during visitation at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King Street West, Kitchener on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Nancy Kelley officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A special thank you to all the staff at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, for all the care given to Gertrude.       Newlyweds Recipients At Shower.

      Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ritter, recently married, were honored with a gathering of Ritter families and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wurm at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Hahn on Saturday evening. A kitchen shower for the young couple wag the occasion for the party. The evening was spent in progressive euchre, the first prize going to Mrs. Russel Hahn, who turned the prize over to the bride.

      A dainty lunch was served by the hostess and the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ritter, expressed their hearty thanke for the shower and the honor done them by their relatives.
