  Mrs. Arthur S. Pitcher PRESTON - Mrs. Arthur S. Pitcher, of 133 Waterloo St. N., died today at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. She was 83. Born in Cincinnatti, she was the former Gertrude Dressell. She lived in Brantford before moving to Preston 36 years ago. Her husband died in 1962. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, the Eastern Star, Preston Chapter the women's institute, the Golden Rule Bible class, and the United Church Women. Surviving are one son, Donald of Preston; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Eleanor) Ranscombe and Mrs. Borden (Jessie) Proctor, both of Preston; one brother, William of Cincinnatti; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Russell, in 1937. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where Rev. Ian Fleming will conduct a service Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston cemetery.
