MILVERTON Gideon Charles Bier, 67, a native of Wellesley Township, died yesterday in the Brantford General Hospital. He had been in ill health for two years.
Mr. Bier, a chiropractor in Dearborn, Mich., retired two years ago and came to Brantford one year ago. He married Mary Ritter "who died in 1919 and Sophie Lawson who died in 1934.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elgin (Pearl) Bundscho, Miss Idella, Mrs. Very Golightly, Monkton, Mrs. Wilfred (Cora) Fuhr, Milverton; three brothers, William J., Toronto, Edwin, Elmira, and Christian, Woodstock; one sister, Mrs. John (Edna) Yost, Milverton.
The body is resting at the McMane Funeral Home, Milverton, and a private service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. M. J. Stockmann, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
