  ANDERSON, Gilbert (Ossie) Of 392 Dolph St. S., Cambridge, on Friday, Nov. 4, 1988, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Anne Shortt; dear father of Paul and his wife Edith of Barrie, Linda (Mrs. Charles Hackburn) of RR 1, Stratford, Karen (Mrs. Colin Sizer) of Orangeville, Bill King and his wife Marg, John King and his wife Betty, all of Cambridge, Don King of Simcoe, Elaine (Mrs. Sandy Keeping) of Ramea, Nfld. and Janice (Mrs. Garry Kerr) of Conn, Ont. Lovingly remembered by 27 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Anderson and his wife Veronica of Dorset and Bob Anderson and his wife Audrey of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was born in Dorset and came to Cambridge, in 1945. He had been employed with Cambridge Towel, for 42 years, retiring in June of 1988. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Saturday (tonight), 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 7. 1988, at the funeral home, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
