  BOWMAN, Gilbert Earle Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, from Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday, July 6, 2015. Gilbert was the beloved husband of Shirley (Fields) Bowman (1935-2006) for 50 years. Loving father of Lori Cantelo and her husband Philip of Belleville and Sue Whittingstall and her husband Paul of Markham. Loving brother of Cleo Bowman of Markham. Predeceased by brothers Edgar and Vernon and by his parents Eldon and Mabel Bowman of Kitchener. Cherished Grandpa of Karl and his wife Lindsay, Beth and her husband Josh, Scott and his wife Leah, Eric and Mark. Great Grandpa (Grpa!) to Malachi, Daniel, Jessica, Addie, Eli, and Wesley. Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham (4 lights north of Hwy. 7) on Wednesday, July 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Harvest Bible Chapel, 8176 McCowan Rd; Markham on Thursday, July 9th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Manheim Mennonite Cemetery.
