  FUNERAL OF GIDEON SMITH. The funeral of Gideon Smith, who died suddenly Tuesday, was held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence, 170816 Congress avenue, with interment in German cemetery. Rev. S. C. Lambert officiated. The Houston Post, Houston, Texas Thursday, March 02, 1911 ____________ FUNERAL OF GIDEON SMITH. Gideon Smith, 81 years old, died at his residence, 1708½ Congress avenue, Tuesday morning. He is survived by one son, F. Smith. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the residence, followed interment in German cemetery. Rev. P. V. Dyck will officiate.
