  Grace, Clare Died peacefully, at The Hanning House on April 27, 2009. Born in Galt on April 5, 1924, she was the only daughter of the late John William Lusty and Laura Ettred Denison. She had lived in Preston, since moving here at the age of one. Grace married Edward Charles (Ted) Clare in 1949 and he predeceased her in 2007. She was the beloved mother of her sons; Mark and John of Cambridge and Jeff of Toronto and their spouses, Ann, Allan Doyle and Susie. Grace is survived by her grandchildren, Beth, James and Mischa and by her great grandson, William. Grace is also survived by her sisters-in-law, June, Mrs. J. C. Lusty and Miss Elisabeth Clare of Cambridge and by Jane, Mrs. J. H. Rodd of Missisauga. She was the dear friend of Michael Cahill and family. She was predeceased by her brother, Jack and her daughter, Laura Elisabeth. Until the time of her marriage, Grace was employed at Clare Brothers. Since 1990, she has been the administrator of The Hanning House. She was member of IODE Preston Chapter, for 56 years and was made a Life Member in 2002.
