  BOEHMER, Mrs. Edward (Gwladys) - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, April 23, 1980, following a brief illness, Gwladys Gabel, of the Richelieu Apartments, Waterloo. A member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church; active for many years in the Catholic Women's League, the Canadian Red Cross and a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital; a recipient of the degree of the LTCM of the Toronto Conservatory of Music. Daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Albert J. Gabel; wife of the late Edward Stewart Boehmer; mother of Patrick of Kitchener; godmother of Rev. Robert Liddy, CR, of Waterloo and grandmother of Michael, Patricia, Mark, Paul and Kevin; predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Ida Purtle and Mrs. Constance Liddy. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after noon today. A scripture service Thursday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home Friday, April 25, at 10: 30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Kitchener Mount Hope cemetery.
