- Hans Joseph Schopf
PRESTON, Hans Joseph Schopf, 1385 Concession Rd., died Monday, at his residence. He was 48. Mr. Schopf was born in Grafenau, Germany and came to Galt, in 1954, then moved to Preston five years ago. He was senior foreman at Kralinator Filters, Ltd. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Rita Ihli, his mother Mrs. Zenta Schopf in Germany; two sons, Hans and Brian and one daughter, Carmen, all at home. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, until Thursday morning, when removal will be made to St. Clement's RC Church, for requiem mass, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Clement's RC cemetery.
