Notes |
- RUSH, Harold Eby December 25, 1947 - February 14, 2011 Passed away, after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis and a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Robert Eby Rush (September 2003) and Ruth Irene Rush (Ernest) (December 2010). He was the loving husband of Joan Bonn (Merrill), loving father of Marie Hall, Sherry Newman of Kitchener and Rebecca (Becky) Bonn of Cambridge. He was the loving Pop of Jacob, James and Grace Newman and Cory and Kevin Hall of Kitchener. Survived by brothers Bryan (Sandy) and Gary of Cambridge and by sisters Gayle and Kim of Cambridge and MaryRuth Martin (Dennis) of Listowel. Harold is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and nephews. Harold was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126 and a very sports oriented person. He liked bowling, baseball, golfing, gardening, fishing, being out in the backyard playing with his dogs and going to the Nascar Races. As per Harold's wishes, there will not be a service. We, as his family, will be holding a Celebration of Life later in the year. We would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of Cambridge Memorial Hospital and much gratitude goes to the 3rd floor staff of Freeport Hospital, who did everything possible to make Harold and his family as comfortable as possible in those last days. Donations to the MS Society or the Cancer Society would be a great way to remember him. "See you, POP"
