    • Harold Ferguson Ball "A resident of Killean for the past five years, on Thursday, August 30, 1962, in Galt. He was the son of Richard Ball and Ann Ferguson. Mr. Ball was an employee for thirty-five years with the Customs and Excise Division of the Department of National Revenue in Toronto. Upon retiring in 1957, he was appointed special excise man with the Excise Duty Dept. , Toronto and was a member of all civil service clubs. He was president of the Toronto District Council of Civil Servants' Association, serving on all executive positions with the Toronto Customs and Excise Association. He served overseas with the original 18th Battalion in France during the First World War. Surviving are one brother, William and one sister, Margaret Ball of Toronto. Predeceased by a half-brother, Roland of Preston and a half-sister, Jane Houlden of Toronto. Service on Sat. , Sept. 1 from Coutts and Son Ltd. Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Jackson of Knox Presbyterian Church officiated Interment Killean Cemetery. Pallbearers: Angus Ferguson of Galt; Ian Ferguson of London; Donald Ferguson of Toronto; Lloyd Houlden of Toronto; Norman Hoff of Galt; and Clarence Bartels of Hespeler. "
