  COCKBURN, Harold "Tony" - Suddenly, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, December 11, 2006, at the age of 73. Beloved husband and best friend of Althea Rose-Cockburn for 36 years. Cherished father of Jeannine and husband Brensley Edmondson. Survived by sisters, Isabella, Cynthia and husband Maurice Conliffe, Louisa and brother, Thomas. Will be missed by brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Predeceased by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Tony graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1970, with a degree in civil engineering. He retired from Uniroyal Goodrich. Tony's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Tony's life will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2006, in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
