  BRODHAECKER, Harry M. Of RR 2, Cambridge (G), on Friday, Dec. 30, 1983, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Cleo Wanner; dear father of Orville of Drayton, Donald of RR 2, Cambridge (G), Shirley (Mrs. Richard Schiedel) of RR 31, Cambridge, Dorothy (Mrs. Harold Martin) of RR 2, Petersburg, Jean (Mrs. Terry Rickert) of RR 2, Petersburg. Also survived by one brother, Telford of Cambridge and two sisters, Mae (Mrs. Harvey Letson) and Frances (Mrs. Albert Stinson), both of Cambridge. Mr. Brodhaecker was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel Fried in 1974; one sister, Maude and a brother, Arthur. Surviving are 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Brodhaecker was born in the County of Wellington, West Luther township; had resided in North Dumfries township and RR 2, Cambridge (Galt) since 1927. A retired farmer, he had served on the North Drumfries school board for a number of years; a member of Grace United Church, Roseville, where he was superintendent of the Sunday school, for a number of years. Past president of the North Dumfries Plowmen's Association; past president of Dickie Settlement Home and School; a member of North Dumfries senior citizens and a member of the New Dundee senior citizens. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Saturday), 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held at Grace United Church, Roseville, Sunday at 3 p.m. Interment in Roseville cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 31 Dec 1983 pg E9
