  PARKINSON, Harry - At Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, May 7, 1996, Harry Parkinson, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Brown) Parkinson. Loved father of Joyce and her husband Clifford Gowing, Donna Mantler, all of Kitchener, William and his wife Tina of Grimsby and the late Edward (1991). Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Dear brother of William Parkinson of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla. Predeceased by his first wife, Helen (Batchelor) Parkinson and a granddaughter, Diane Lucille. Harry had worked at BabcockWilcox for 27 years and retired as the Chief Operating Engineer of the University of Guelph in 1974. Friends may call at the Gilchrist Chapel-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi St., Guelph, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Complete service in the chapel on Friday, May 10 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trillium Room of the funeral home. Cremation Woodlawn Crematorium with interment of cremated remains at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
