    • MISS IRENE KENNEDY

      The funeral of the late Miss Irene Kennedy, whose death occurred at Willett Hospital, Paris, took place Tuesday afternoon. July 9, from the home of her brother, John A. Kennedy, Townline. Many beautiful floral tributes were silent tokens of the love and esteem in which the deceased was held by a large circle of friends. Rev. W. J. Moores conducted the services and interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The casket bearers were six nephews, Robert, Warren and John Kennedy Howard Kennedy, Stewart Cowan and Stanley Hutchison. Miss Kennedy was born on the Townline and was a well known and highly respected citizen of this vicinity all her life. She was of a genial and retiring disposition and was held in esteem and affection by all who knew her. Left to mourn are her brother, John A. Kennedy; seven nephews and four nieces. A brother, F. W. Kennedy, predeceased her two years ago,
