  Death of Mrs. A. W. Watson The community suffered a deep loss on Sunday in the passing of a respected citizen, Mrs. A. Wyllie Watson, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton. She had been ill for some eight weeks and underwent a serious operation a month and a half ago. The late Mrs. Watson, whose maiden name was Helena Alma Quance, was born in Hamilton, a daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. Arthur Quance, and lived there until her marriage in 1930. She was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. An ardent golf enthusiast, Mrs. Watson belonged to the Golf and Country Club, Galt. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mary Elizabeth, and a son, John, at home; her mother, Mrs. Arthur Quance, Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Olive Rutledge, of Hamilton, and a nephew, Gerald Rutledge of Toronto.
