- Frederick H. Zick Dies in Dundas
Frederick Homer Zick, superintendent of Jones Brothers, Dundas, where he had been employed for the last 30 years, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 19 Bond street. Dundas. Well known and highly esteemed in the community, Mr. Zick has served on the school board and was a member of the Dundas Golf club.
He was the son of the late Conrad Zick and Marie Fitzenmire Zick and was a devout Catholic, belonging to St. Augustine's church. Left to mourn are his sister, Mrs. E. O. Ritz, of Kitchener; two brothers, Edmund H., of Buffalo, and Norman, in Los Angeles; one niece and five nephews, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. James P. Trant, and his sister-in-law, Miss Nora Trant, both of Dundas. His wife, the former Katherine Elizabeth Trant, predeceased him eight years ago, and a brother, William Zick, five years ago. The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 8.30 o'clock from his home to St. Augustine's church and interment will be made in St. Augustine's cemetery.
