- MYERS, Edith (Ida) - Formerly of Kitchener, passed away, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, in her 97th year. Edith was a longtime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Dearly loved mother of Ruth Kyle and her husband Tom of Barrie and mother-in-law of Gerald Hogan and his wife Kay of Kitchener; loving grandmother of Doug Hogan, Jo-Anne Kyle, Nancy Penner and her husband Terry, Donna Jacobs, Jim Kyle and his wife Maria and Pat Hogan; proud great-grandmother of Tyler Jacobs, Billie Hogan, Jessica and Christine Penner and Brett and Alison Kyle. Survived by her brother, Walter Joseph of Waterloo. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1981; her daughter, Joan Hogan in 1991; brothers, Albert and Rudolph Joseph and sisters, Olga Oswald, Amanda Siebert and Elsie Hebebrand. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday at 11 am, with Rev. Nancy Kelly officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
