      At the K-W Hospital, on Mo day, Nov. 22, 1971, Ida Josephine Harnock, of 73 Columbia St. West, Waterloo, age 74 years, native of Brant Township and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Harnock, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim; predeceased by her first husband, David Stuempfle in 1953 and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Grace. Wife of Lloyd Stoltz; mother of Joyce (Mrs. Gordon Kilborn), Kitchener and Virginia (Mrs. Michael Schankula), Pinawa, Man.; sister of John and Henry Harnock and Pauline (Mrs. William Rhody) of Hanover; Rubin, Walkerton: Wilhelmina (Mrs. John Burrell), Ayton; Caroline (Mrs. Samuel Haley), Stratford; Mary (Mrs. David Leifson), Chesley, and Gertrude (Mrs. Herbert Steinhagen), Walkerton. Five grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, until noon on Thursday, when removal will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Richard Holm officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery. Donations to the building fund of the church may be made as expressions of sympathy.

      Stuempfle-Harnack

      The marriage took place at the Lutheran parsonage, Walkerton, on Tuesday of last week of two well- known Brant young people, when Miss Ida Harnack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harnack, became the bride of Mr. David Stuempfle of Elmwood. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. J. Wittig. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Gertrude, while the groom was supported by his brother, Fred. Mr. and Mrs. Stuempfle left on a motor trip to Hamilton, Toronto and other centres, and on their return will reside for a time at Elmwood, where the groom has the agency for the Overland cars, but purpose making their home at Owen Sound in the near future.
