    • BADEN, Aug. 2 - Death claimed a well-known resident of Baden on Saturday in the person of Miss Edith Schmitt, aged 42 years, three months and five days. Death came after an illness of a few days at the home of her brother-in-law, Mr. Norman Zimmerman at St. Agatha. The deceased is survived by her aged father, Mr. Jacob R. Schmitt and by four brothers, Jacob of Galt, Louis, Waterloo, John and Gordon of Kitchener and by four sisters, Mrs. George Z. Lantz, Baden, Mrs. Albert Muellen, Waterloo, Mrs. Herbert Lantz, Baden and Mrs. Norman Zimmerman, St. Agatha. The deceased was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence of her brother-in-law, Norman Zimmerman to Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, for service. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
