    • WEBER, Irvin E. Passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at the age of 91. Son of the late Irvin K. Weber and Irene (Bingeman). Predeceased by his cherished wife Dorothea (Alles), son Brent (Barb), brother Robert and sister Ruth (Murdoch). Survived by son Don (Diane), daughter Cheryl Uhrig (Dave) and sister Muriel Shadek. Honoured in his legacy by grandchildren Michael, Kathryn, Ross, Taylor (Lauren), Marika (Corey), Sarah (Garrett) and Jordan (Elana). Many shared memories with Shirley Berch. "Uncle Irv" had fond relationships with nieces and nephews in Canada, New Zealand and the U.S.A. Dad attended Victoria Public School and K.C.I., completing training as a Sergeant in the R.C.A.F. In 1945, he joined the Kaufman Rubber Company retiring as President then serving on the Board of Directors. He was a past President of the Canadian Shoe Manufacturers Association. A long time member and benefactor of the K-W Y.M.C.A., he was blessed with good health and many enduring friendships in the community that enriched his life immeasurably. Still astride his motorcycle until age 89, he lived with great ability, purpose and wonderful vitality. He planted trees every spring and planted inspiration in all who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A tribute to his life will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 commencing at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Room. A private family interment will be held.
