- Jacob Tyson, "was born in Skippack Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in 1786 and died in 1863. He was married to Elizabeth Bergey who died at the age of seventy-four years. They resided in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where they followed farming. To them was born a family of nine children,..., and one who died in infancy whose name was not received. None of the named family settled in Canada save Abram and John"1
