  WHITELY, JAMES BENSON was born on October 8, 1857 at Goderich. He received his early education in that town and taught at Port Albert from 1876 to 1878. He graduated in medicine from Victoria University in 1882. He first practised in Milverton, and then took charge of Dr. Morton's practice in Wellesley. In 1886 he went to Goderich where he remained until his death on April 12 1937. Dr. Alexander D.
