  WENDLING, Jerome (Gerry) M. At his residence, 303 Wellington St N., Kitchener, on Sunday. Aug. 2, 1987, after a lengthy illness. Jerome Martin Wendling, aged 73 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Miraculous Medal. He had been employed as a foreman for Waterloo Spring Co. Ltd., and had been associated with Waterloo Spring Co. Ltd. for 39 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and a past fire chief of Bridgeport He was an ardent golfer most of his life Husband of the former Geraldine Girodat and in December of last year had celebrated their 50th wed-ding anniversary. Father of Douglas and his wife Sandy, Patricia (Mrs. Gerry Harbach) and Joan (Mrs Bruce Olinski), all of Kitchener. Herbert and his wife Betty and Carol (Mrs. Bill Marks), all of Waterloo, Clarence (Dick) and his wife Shirley of Ayr. Diane (Mrs. Jim Marks) of Bloomingdale; brother of Frank of Waterloo Twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive. Predeceased by his parents. Frank Wendling and the former Mary Benninger; two brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this eve ning (Tuesday), where the parish. prayers will be recited on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10 am. at St. Teresa's Church, with Father L.
