FRIED, John Carl Bricker "Jack" Surrounded by his family, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, February 8, 2016, formerly of Wrigley Road, Ayr, in his 96th year. Jack was a lifelong resident of the Ayr area. He served overseas in WWII and was an active member of Knox United Church Ayr. Beloved husband to the late Doris (2011); loved dad to Terry, Cathy Schweigert (Barry), Ron (Dora), Brian, the late Jamie (2012), and Laurie Brain; cherished grandpa to 13 grand- children and several great-grand children. Dear brother to Ruth Brown and brother-in-law to Elva Fried. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; Ephraim and Edna, a grandson Adam, by sisters, Jean Schiedel and Gladys Innanen, and brothers, Howard, Walter and Don Fried. Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr, on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Knox United Church (92 Northumberland Street, Ayr), on Friday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment following cremation Ayr Cemetery.
