Of 180 Grand Avenue South, formerly of Gilholm Avenue, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, November 1, 1987, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Robina (Ruby) Duncan and dear father of Robert James and his wife Marilyn of Cambridge, Brenda Lynn and husband Lorne Purdy of Cambridge. Also survived by four grandchildren; Jocelyn and Ryan Johnson and Michael and Matthew Purdy. Dear brother of Philip (Phode) and Mrs. Alma Taylor, both of Cambridge. He was predeceased by a brother Les. He was an avid sportsman and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. He was a shoe worker having worked for Bonnie Stuart retiring, in 1979. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where friends will be received on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Friday, December 4, 1987, at 3 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
