- HANNAY, John Rainnie At Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, on Wednesday, July 4, 1990, John Rainnie Hannay, age 85 years, of Freeport.
Mr. Hannay was a retired real estate salesman; a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and served overseas in the Second World War as a Captain in the RCA along with his wife, who served as a medical doctor in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in Belgium and Holland.
Beloved husband of the late Dr. Deborah Hannay (nee Glaister), who predeceased him July 31, 1986. Dear brother of Mrs. Mary Proudfoot of Waterloo, Joan and her husband Douglas Ross of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Monday, July 9, 1990 at 2:30 p.m., Dr. Grant Mac- Donald officiating. Cremation has taken place with interment in Woodland cemetery.
Reception to follow in the Ratz Bechtel Family Centre.
Memorial donations to Freeport Hospital Health Care Village would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the service.
