- Death of John Murray. - There died near Preston last Friday morning Mr. John Murray, a gentleman well and favorably known in this community, where he has been a resident for many years. Deceased ha been in feeble health for a few years death being due to the infirmities of old age. He was in his 92nd year. He leaves to mourn his loss two daughters, Mrs. Suddaby, of Berlin, Mrs Bliss, who cared for him in his declining years, and one son, Mr. Hamilton Murray, His wife predeceased him some years ago, Funeral services were conducted last Saturday afternoon at the residence of the deceased, by Rev. Mr. Johnson, of the Presbyterian church of Preston, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Preston cemetery.
