      Joseph Blain-Allen, 378 Ahrens Sueet, Kitchener, passed away in the K-W Hospital this morning.

      Born in Malton 66 years ago, Mr. Allen came to Kitchener in 1926 Since that time he was proprietor of the JB Allen and Company, wholesale plumbing and heating suppliers.

      Son of the late Thomas Allen and Margaret Currie, he was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Granite Curling Club.

      Surviving besides his wife, the former Maude Ante, is one son, Capt, WB Allen, Fusiliers, London; two sisters, Elizabeth, in Galt, and Mrs. Frank Buchanan, Victoria, BC: and three brothers, Thomas, Toronto, WC. London, and Dan, Winnipeg, Public services will be conducted from the Schreiter Sardrock Funeral H the at 2 pm Friday under the direction of Rev. Frank Lawson Interment will be made in Mount View Cemetery, Galt.
