  PEDEN, Joseph Hugh Joe, beloved partner of Catherine Lynn (Hall) Mitchell and devoted stepfather to Matthew Evan Serge Mitchell, Sarah Lynn Mitchell and Megan Amy Mitchell, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Ralph Taylor Peden and Viletta Jean (Sims) Peden and his sister, (Betty Lou) Elizabeth Lucille (Peden) Milne. He is survived by his brother, Daniel Sims Peden (and wife Kathy Grant) of Manitoulin. Joe will be sadly missed by his niece, Dione (Milne) Decock and nephews, Mark Milne, Bradley Peden and Brian Peden. In honour of Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a memorial service to follow, at Mount View Cemetery, in Cambridge. Waterloo Region Record 14 Jul 2015
