  Leach, Joseph R. - At K-W Hospital, on Thursday, October 20, 1977, suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, Joseph Roland Leach of 12 Front St., New Dundee, age 49 years. A member of St. Agatha RC Church. Had been employed at New Dundee Creamery Ltd. A member of Kitchener Council 1504, Knights of Columbus; Father Funcken General Assembly, fourth degree, Knights of Columbus and the Liberal Association. Husband of the former Teresa Desbiens; father of Gerald of Temagami and father-in-law of Betty Anne; father of Michael and Lynn, both at home, Gisele of Heidelberg; brother of Paul of Temagami, Arthur of California, Mrs. Alphonse (Bertha) Bernetchez of Mattachewan, Mrs. Isadore (Rosann) Lavec, Mrs. Manfred (Bernadette) LaJeneusse and Mrs. Lester (Eva) Bidal, all of Sturgeon Falls, Mrs. Charles (Carmelle) O'Callaghan, of Seattle, Wash. Predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Leo, Hugh and Henry; one sister, Mrs. Adelard Sabourin. Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Parish prayers were recited Oct. 23, followed by Knights of Columbus Scripture service. Prayers were said at the funeral home Oct. 24, followed by a funeral mass, at St. Agatha RC Church.
