  TSCHIRHART, Joe - Peacefully on Tuesday August 2, 2016, at Country Lane Nursing Home, Chatsworth, in his 89th year. Joe, survived by his brother Wilf and brother-in-law Earl Querinn and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Margretha (nee Huck), brothers Roy (Marie), Walter (Dolly), Carl (Grace), sister Reta Querin and sister-in-law Betty. Joe was born into a life of farming in Haysville, Ontario. His love for farming and the outdoors had him move from Haysville to the Port Elgin area in the late 1960's, where he continued farming until he was 75. Many thanks to Carolyn Drapper, a guardian angel to Joe from the Day Away program at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, for all her help and to all the staff at Country Lane Nursing Home for their great support. A funeral service for Joe will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30am, at the T.A. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Southampton. Memorial donations to the Day Away program at Grey Bruce Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
