- ROTH, Josiah Z.-On Sunday, Aug. 22, 1982, at his residence, Josiah Z. Roth, age 76 years, of 9 Brubacher St., Baden.
He was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. He was a former mailman at RR 2, Baden and a former fireman with the Baden Volunteer Fire Department.
Beloved husband of the former Katie Albrecht; dear father of Bertha (Mrs. Allen McCurdy) of RR 7, Woodstock and Jean (Mrs. Herb Hammer) of Baden. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Reuben of Tavistock, Noah of Bancroft and two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Zehr of New Hamburg and Emma (Mrs. Norman Lowes) of Woodstock.
He was predeceased by his parents, the late Noah M. Roth and the former Mary Zehr and two sisters, Lavina Zehr and Anna Mae Baechler.
Resting at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., after 2 p.m. this afternoon and until noon Wednesday, when removal will be made to Hillcrest Mennonite Church for service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Gerald Good officiating. Burial to follow in the 16th Line East Zorra Mennonite cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Mennonite Central Committee.
