- Mrs. Joseph Moyer, 68, West Montrose, died at Dt. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, following a lengthy illness.
Born at Linwood, her maiden name was Julia Logel, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Loge;. She had resided in the West Montrose district all her life.
Her marriage to Mr. Moyer, who survives, took place at Macton in 1931. She was a member of St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill, and the Christian Mothers Society and Catholic women's League.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Fred and Gerald, both of West Montrose; one brother, Joseph Logel of Kitchener; seven sisters, Mrs. Teresa Haid, Mrs. Edgar (Emma) Merkel, and Mary Logel, all d Kitchener, Mrs. Stanley (Irene) Keller, Mrs. Louisa Helm and Mrs. George (Margaret) Zimmerman, all of Waterloo, and Mrs. Annie Kocher of Aylmer. Two brothers predeceased leer.
The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where prayers were said Saturday. Requiem mass was solemnized at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill. Rev. V. J. Pickett of Maryhill officiated. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
