    • Mr. Karl Phillip Guenzler Mr. Karl Philip Guenzler, one of Kitchener's oldest and most respected citizens, passed away at the family residence 162 Joseph Street, on Thursday evening last, at the age of 83years, 10 months and one day was born in Biberach by Heilbrown, Wurtenburg, Germany, November 9, 1847 and came to this district in 1856. His second wife, the late Mrs. Christina Hemmerich, predeceased him al year and-a-half ago. He leaves to mourn his loss one son, Charles Guenzler, five daughters, Mrs. Conrad Schaefer, Mrs. Charles Olm, Odm, Mich., Mrs. Abner Shantz, Mrs. Allen Seibert, Mrs. Herbert Jacobi, and three step children, Charles Wolfenberg, Mrs Anna Carstens and Mrs. Arthur Niergath. He is also survived by 26 grand children and two great grand children and by one brother, George Geunzler of Waterloo. He Was one of the oldest and most faithful members of St. Pauls Lutheran church. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from his late residence 162 Joseph street to St. Paul's Lathe:min church at three o'clock. Interment was made in Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. A. Orzen of St. Paul's church had charge, of the service. A large-number of Elmira friends of the late Mt. Karl Guenzler attended the funeral at Kitchener
