  PINNELL, Mrs. Katharine - On Friday, June 7, 1991, at K-W Hospital, after a brief illness, Katharine (nee Haefle) Pinnell, in her 88th year, of Kitchener. Loving mother of Gerald and his wife Marie of Kelowna, B.C., Robert and his wife Marie, Sheila and her husband Donald Eckert and Brenda Picard, and sister of Rosetta Strub, all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1965; her brothers, Otto Haefle, CR, and Linus Haefle; her sisters, Mary, Theresa and Regina and her parents, Michael and Susanna (Strauss) Haefle. Mrs. Pinnell was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League. Visitation at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, Sunday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayer service at the funeral home Sunday, 3 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Monday, 9:30 a.m., then to Mary's RC Church, Young St., Kitchener, for the funeral mass at 10 a.m. Monday, Father T. Gerharz officiating. Interment, Kitchener Mount Hope cemetery. Reception to follow in the RatzBechtel Family Centre. Memorial gifts to K-W and Area Right to Life Association gratefully acknowledged.
