• Notes

  Mrs. Katherine Berrington 67 of 42 Kribs St. a resident of Hespeler for 40 years, died suddenly, Thurs., Feb. 4th while shopping. Mrs. Berrington was born in London, England and came to Hespeler in 1920. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church and was active in the Women's Auxiliary to the Hespeler Legion. Her husband, Frederick George Berrington, predeceased her in 1946. Surviving are two sons, Fred of Simcoe and Alfred of Scotland, and one sister Margaret Walsh in England. A memorial service was held at the Stager-Nelson Funeral Home, Galt St., Friday night at 7:45 pm and was conducted by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Hespeler Legion. The funeral was conducted from St. James Anglican Church Sat., Feb. 6 at 1:30 pm by the Rev. J.A. Armstrong. Interment was in the Hespeler Cemetery. Galt Reporter Feb 1960.
