He was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg and a member of the Appeal Board for Farm Credit.
Beloved husband of the former Isobel Simpson; dear father of Fiona, Stephanie, Alan and Gillian, all at home; dearly loved son of Lydia Ruby (nee Schwartzentruber) of RR 2, Baden and the late Stanley Ruby (1979). Lovingly remembered by his sister, Mary Lou and her husband Grant Jonas and their children Greg, Steve and Doug, all of RR 2, Baden; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and May Simpson; brother-in-law, Walter Simpson and his wife Alice and their children Stuart and Linda, all of Northern Ireland.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 2 p.m. today and until noon Monday; Sept. 23, when transfer will be made to Zion United Church, for service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Steven Cox officiating. Interment in Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg.
