At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 26, 2001, in his 73rd year. Ken Young is predeceased by his first wife, Sheila Young. Survived by children, Lynn Hopkins and her husband Dr. Donald Hopkins, Christopher Young and his wife Sharon, Martin Young and daughter-in-law, Mary Robillard; grandfather of Steven Hallman, Alicia Young, Ryan Young, Dylan Robillard-Young and great-grandfather of Jaden Zachery Hallman. Survived by his second wife, Blanche Young; brother of Herman Young and Myrtle Bowers, both of Kincardine and Glenn Young of Prince George, B.C. Ken was born in Kincardine and was the Owner and President of Premier Spring and Manufacturing, Ayr until his retirement and was a member of the Galt Golf & Country Club for 40 years. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Saturday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Sunday, April 29, 2001, at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
