At Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Friday, April 3, 2009, Mary Ludwig of Simcoe in her 90th year. Wife of the late Michael Ludwig (1999). Dear mother of Fred Ludwig and his wife Rose of Simcoe. Predeceased by a son Ronald (1990). Survived by her daughter-in-law Carol Ludwig. Dear grandmother to Kelly (Jeff), Michael (Patty), Mark (Pam) and Kim (Frank). Predeceased by a granddaughter Caron (2003) and survived by her grandson-in-law Doug Bush. Dear great grandmother to Michaela, Sarah, Nicholas, Alicia, Matthew, Adam, Cassandra, Krista and Jamie. Also survived by sister Evangeline White, brothers Bud Voegtle (Ena), Ted Fetter (Pat) and Terry Fetter, special nephew Doug Voegtle (Ann) and their children Tracy (Todd) and Michelle (James) and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a longtime active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She was an active volunteer in her community. Mary was an honourary lifetime member and director of the Homecraft Division of Norfolk County Fair. She also was a member of Oakcrest Women's Institute, holding offices at the local level and also serving as District President. Friends are invited to call at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be conducted from ST. PETER'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Corner of Union and Colborne Sts., Simcoe) on Tuesday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Abraham officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
