  REIST, Mr. Lanson At the K-W Hospital on Saturday, August 30, 1975, suddenly following a heart attack, Lanson Reist, formerly of 89 Ross Ave., Kitchener, aged 80 years. A member of Bethany Missionary Church; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gideon Reist; husband of the late Amy Diefenbacher who predeceased him in 1974; father of Elmer, Waterloo, Kenneth, St. Charles, Ill., Elaine (Mrs. OrIan Srigley), St. Catharines; brother of Elgin, New Dundee, Luman, Kitchener, Leonard, Cambridge and Ella (Mrs. Roy Karcher), Kitchener; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive; he was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert and one sister, Myrtle. Funeral service was held today at Bethany Missionary Church with Rev. C. E. Hunking officiating. Interment was in Memory Gardens. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 2 sep 1975 pg 39
