    • CRABTREE, Larry Victor Passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Habermehl) Crabtree for 51 years. Loving father of Kathryn Thomsen (Crabtree) and her husband Rev. Neil Thomsen. Grandfather of Charlotte Thomsen. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Albert and Florence (nee Grant) Crabtree, sister Irene Brodie, brother Ken Crabtree (Pat). Larry worked for 36 years as a manager of engineering and technical sales with Foseco Morval; was a member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada; served on the board of the K-W Skating Club and sang in the choir and served on many committees as a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Larry enjoyed spending time with his dogs Cindy, Duchess and Schatzi. Larry's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467 and will continue from 10-10:45 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 317 Franklin St. N., Kitchener followed by a reception. Pastor Dale Finch officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Luke's Lutheran Church choir or K-W Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
