Beloved wife of Manuel Bettencourt and dear mother of Joao Bettencourt and his wife Ana of Glen Morris, Maria Costa and her husband Manuel of Pico, Azores, Gilda Isabelinha and her husband Jaime of Almeirim, Portugal. Dear sister of Amaro Luis and wife Maria, Manuel Serpa and wife Maria all of Victoria, B.C., Jose Avila of Azores, and sisters, Maria Bettencourt and Ana Lima of Cambridge and Idalena Serpa of the Azores. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother, Joao Avila. Resting at i.he CORBETT FUNERAL HOME, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family received friends on Sunday, from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C.
