- HOFFMAN Eva - Of Fairview Mennonite Home on Saturday, December 3, 1994, Eva Schnaeringer in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Clayton F. Hoffman (1982), dear mother of Fred and his wife Shirley of Guelph. Lovingly remembered by 4 grandchildren Anthony (Tania) of Maryhill, Mark (Susan) of Guelph, Elizabeth of Detroit and Jane of Guelph and 5 great-grandchildren, Clayton, Kyle, Katharine, Walker and Haley. She was the last surviving member of her family. Mrs. Hoffman was born in Preston and was a life long resident of the area. She was a registered nurse, graduating in the Class of '23 at K-W Hospital School of Nursing, a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church and a member and past Matron of the Preston Springs Chapter of the Eastern Star. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday (today) from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral and Committal Services will be held at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle Street N., Cambridge on Tuesday, December 6, 1994 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Al Beaton officiating. Interment following in Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Fairview Mennonite Home Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
