  Laurie Rennie Thursday, February 23rd, 1956 - Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 Rennie, Laurie Passed away suddenly while on vacation in Costa Rica on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 of complications caused by a bacterial infection at the age of 66. Beloved Wife of Kim Rennie for 43 years. Laurie & Kim met as neighbours at the tender age of 9 years old. Loving Mother of Megan Stover (Graeme) and Matt Rennie (Rachel). Treasured Grandma to Evvie, Violet, Paisley and Nash. Dear Sister of Nancy Wilhelm-Morden (Ted), Jeff Wilhelm (Patti), Jim Wilhelm (Michelle), Dianne Rath (Andy), Dave Wilhelm (Diana). Laurie will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Laurie's most precious times were spent with family, especially her young grandchildren. She made many memories with her siblings & their families, the Mallory Beach cottage crew, the 'Card Girls' and her highschool friends. Laurie had a true passion for gardening and continued a life-long interest in collecting, refinishing and selling antiques & collectables. As the family "Director of Recreation" she and Kim travelled across Canada and the world - she explored over 40 countries in her lifetime.
