Notes - BRENNEMAN, Lavern Ray - April 22, 1926 - September 9, 2008. Passed away at Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Lavern (Vern) R. Brenneman, in his 83rd year, was the beloved husband of Dolores J. (nee Miller) Brenneman. He was the dear father of Thomas and his wife Rosalind of Hamilton, Theodore (Ted) and his wife Carol of Grimsby, and Shelley Lynn and her husband Frank Paolini of King City. Vern was the loving grandpa of Tanya (Terry), Ryan, Josh (Kelly), and Holly. He was the dear brother of Pearl Roth and Leona Bingeman, both of New Hamburg, Fern Zehr of Listowel, Iona (Babe) Rickert of Waterloo, and the late Earl. Vern is remembered by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Russell (1998). Friends may call to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home , Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home 519-822-4731 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
